Tucked away down in Temecula, Galway Downs is a beautiful equestrian center with the most stunning wedding venue on property. The team of coordinators on sight are so helpful and kind. Still dreaming about this perfect wedding. These two are so great together. He was so so excited to see his soon to be wife. The first look could not have come soon enough for him. Once she saw him for the first time all of the nerves went away. They were just ready to get married… to say “I do”.
Leoness Cellars is such a great wedding venue. The ceremony site is on point and totally swoon worthy with vineyard and mountain views. What a perfect spot to commit your life to “your person”. The reception location is just as gorgeous. An intimate room with wine barrels to give that romantic feel. The perfect spot to dance the night away and since it’s inside you don’t have to worry about being too chilly.
From a photographer’s stand point you really can’t go wrong with Leoness Cellars…..so many beautiful locations to photograph the couple, bridal party, and family. Check out some of our favorites from this couple’s perfect day.
We had the best day celebrating the love these to have for one another. What a stunning wedding day these two had. The Oaks Cub at Valencia is truly a beautiful wedding venue. Since this venue is a golf course the grounds are vast and lush and even includes a lake! As their wedding photographers we took advantage of it all… the venue supplied us all with golf carts so that the couple was able to have photos taken all over the grounds! TIP ALERT - ask your venue if you can borrow a golf cart for your romantics…..if you’re getting married in California chances are your wedding day will be warm and you will appreciate as little walking as possible on the big day. Trust me! ;)
Did anyone else notice that AMAZING wedding bouquet?! Well The Exotic Green Garden killed it in my opinion. If any of you are still searching for a florist or rental company check them out. I will attach their website in this blog. They did a stellar job!!

Engagement Photos
This engagement session was no exception. Since these two had such crazy schedules leading up to their big day and to top it off accepted new jobs and a big move… we weren’t able to find a date for their engagement session until about a month before their wedding day. I was so excited to finally get to meet Jennifer and Justin and I was even more excited to find out that they had chosen a beach for their engagement session. The engagement session started off a little more simple.. I try to keep in mind when shooting that about 90% of my clients have never had professional photos taken (high school yearbook doesn’t count). With this in mind my focus in the beginning is to get my couples to feel comfortable with me. This is after all supposed to be fun! :) These two warmed up quickly and close to the end of our session I asked if they would like to get in the water (please keep in mind it was September in California …… the water was absolutely FREEZING). But with smiles on their faces they said, “sure why not”?!
As I said it was freezing
But to say they were good sports about it all would be an understatement!
I think it was worth it..

This Lake Oak Meadows wedding gave us all the feels! Rain and all it didn’t matter...these two love birds had a blast!
Let’s get real though for a minute. In the months, weeks, days, before your big day the fear is always....”will it ACTUALLY rain”?! It is a concern, especially if your entire wedding is planned to be outside. Should we put the tent up or risk it? I don’t have all the answers but what I can say is if you work with an experienced photographer you will for sure have some amazing photos. Our team has worked countless rainy day weddings… through thunder and risk of flood. We still promise you will have fun and get AMAZING photos! You may get a bit damp and I do suggest bringing rain boots or shoes you don’t care about… but just look below....this day was raining but doesn’t it look perfect anyway? 💕

Venue by Three Petals is a beautiful venue filled with long white walls lined with candles and let us not forget the stunning chandelier with hundreds of white flowers covering it. Photographing engagement sessions make me smile. The excitement in my couples eyes…..the fact that they will be beginning this new adventure together, it is amazing to see the hope and joy that fill their smiles. Dana Point California is definitely a favorite city of mine. If you ever have the opportunity to go exploring in downtown Dana Point you should. The city is filled with vast ocean views as far as the eye can see. The restaurants are all on point and tasty! Okay, enough traveling advice. ;)
Dana Point Yacht Club is literally on the harbor in Dana Point. The actual ceremony takes place on the quaint but lovely patio area. The ceremony site is filled with ocean views and a perfect place for any couple to say “I do”. For “romantics” of this bride and groom we sneaked away over to the beach next to the Ocean Institute which is about a 3 minute drive from the Dana Point Yacht Club. Thomas F Riley Wilderness Park is a known beauty in Orange County. This park is filled with golden hills and lush trees. The perfect spot for photos! I had so much fun photographing these two. The HomeStead wedding venue in Oak Glen is definitely a hidden gem. This wedding venue is tucked up in the mountains. Decorated to a “T”, this venue is already to go needing no added decor. Montage Laguna Beach never disappoints! This is one of our favorite engagement session locations. Beach engagement sessions are a must when you grow up in SoCal and your hubby to be is from Texas. These two had so much fun…they even did a rendition of the famous lift from Dirty Dancing! So happy for these two to be saying “I do” at the Temecula Creek Inn wedding venue. When you dream of your wedding you never dream that it will RAIN on your wedding day. I know, I said RAIN (the awful word every bride flinches at). This beautiful couple had the storm of all storms on their wedding day at Falkner Winery. They ended up getting married inside the barrel room and their wedding reception above in the Pinnacle Restaurant. You would never guess by the grace and pure joy that this couple showed that it was raining. They didn’t mind at all and we had the absolute best time stomping through the puddles and walking around in the rain capturing the most beautiful photos of this bride and groom.
