We had a beautiful cloudy day and the perfect couple. This stunning bride to be is a sports news anchor in Arizona… I know right?! What a rediculously awesome job! Montage Laguna Beach never disappoints! This is one of our favorite engagement session locations. Beach engagement sessions are a must when you grow up in SoCal and your hubby to be is from Texas. These two had so much fun…they even did a rendition of the famous lift from Dirty Dancing! So happy for these two to be saying “I do” at the Temecula Creek Inn wedding venue. Such a gorgeous engagement session at Montage Laguna beach! My job as an Orange County wedding photographer and engagement photographer is to guide my couples into posing positions and of course get them giggling. I have always been blessed with couples that are so CLEARLY in love with each other but these two!!! OMG! These two took little to no guidance at all! They were just naturally this adorable! Photographing couples in their favorite locations with all of that love and emotion is truly the best. Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach is one of our favorite engagement session spots. We are totally in love with the whole scene from the stunning waves to the rock landscapes that form the perfect tunnel for our couples to stand under, we just can’t get enough of this gorgeous spot.
This couple holds a special spot in my heart. This beautiful bride’s mom is my AMAZING hairstylist! I always consider it the ultimate compliment when family friends consider us to be their wedding photographers. We had so much fun and to many laughs photographing these two. We can’t wait for these two to get married in March at Coto Valley Country Club!
We had the best time photographing this couple at Treasure Island Park near The Montage in Laguna Beach. These two have been together for a long time and are clearly so in love. We had all smiles with this beautiful couple. It's always such a pleasure photographing someone else's love. To say that Nichole and I love our job would be a complete understatement! I think it's safe to say every single woman has thought about what her proposal would be like. It seems that part of being a girl.....when you grow up watching Disney movies with a HAPPILY EVER AFTER, it's hard not to imagine what your own love story would be like. Well this awesome guy planned the perfect proposal and we are so glad we could help capture it.
Being a wedding photographer is so rewarding. But I wont lie...I love when we get to help be part of a proposal. The men are always anxious, nervous, and excited! All of the prep that goes into men "popping the question" just makes my heart melt. It really is such a wonderful moment to be able to photograph. Carl chose to propose at Montage Laguna Beach (if you haven't been to this gorgeous location, do yourself a favor and check it out). We were able to capture every little detail of him getting down on one knee (check out the short video below of her reaction)!
The surreal moments after you're OFFICIALLY ENGAGED is so overwhelming. You seriously want to laugh, cry, smile, kiss, and sometimes scream. It is one of the best moments you'll ever share with your soon to be spouse. Well after each proposal we photograph, we ALWAYS take the couple for some fun romantic pictures. These are always the best...we always get giggles and she is usually always staring at her new sparkle on her finger. What can I say...being a proposal photographer is the best!
